Q. How long before I can see a difference in my horse?
A. From as soon as 14 days after administration to 4 weeks. Some animals
metabolize Mag Vet faster than others.
Q. Will an increased dosage show faster results?
A. No, it takes time to regulate the animal’s metabolism.
Q. Is the Recommended dosage sufficient in all cases?
A. No, if your horse is worked to a sweat, dosage should be increased
up to 1⁄4 oz ( 5 grams)
Q. What are the major effects on the horse’s behavior?
A. Mag Vet will lessen or eliminate problems associated with nervousness
and tension. Horses will react more calmly to their surroundings and
not become tense in stressful situations.
Q. Does the horse lose vitality?
A. No, Mag Vet will not affect the natural ability of the horse.
Q. Can I Overdose my horse?
A. No, but exceeding recommended dosage will not benefit the horse.
Q. My horse is a nervous traveler. Will Mag Vet help?
A. Yes, your horse will become a much more relaxed traveler.
Q. My horse spooks – will Mag Vet cure it?
A. No, your horse will still spook, but a spook is no longer a big affair.
The horses nervousness will not build up, and spooks will no longer result
in unruly behaviour.
Q. Will Mag Vet make my horse faster?
A. No, however Mag Vet removes pre-race tensionin the muscles allowing
the animal to use its muscles more effectively.
Q. Will Mag Vet increase the endurance?
A. Yes, by having a muscle relaxed horse (this includes the heart) at
the start, the heart is more capable of supplying oxygen to the skeletal
muscles,
increasing endurance, and reducing lactic acid buildup.
Q. My horse “ties up” easily. Can Mag Vet help solve
this?
A. Provided your horse is fit for the task. Mag Vet will extend the aerobic
phase and therefore reduce the chances of “tying up”.
Q. Will it affect my horse’s willingness to run or work?
A. Yes, horses show more willingness to work, however a horse that is
not cut out to be a racehorse will not change.
Q. How can I improve my horse with Mag Vet?
A. As the horse reacts more calmly to its surroundings, it will pay more
attention to the fences and therefore jump cleaner and more relaxed.
Q. I am a dressage rider. What will Mag Vet do for my horse?
A. You will find that a horse fed with Mag Vet will tolerate more stress
and will get less excited at some exercises.
Q. Can I still feed my horse other vitamins and electrolytes?
A. Yes, you do not change anything in your normal feeding programme,
but add Mag Vet.
Q. Do horses eat Mag Vet without Problem?
A. We know of no case of a horse not eating Mag Vet however, at the outset
your horse may eat its ration slower… If desired, you can wet the
powder on the horses feed with a little vegetable oil, or apple cider
vinegar.
Q. My horse is on medication. Can I still feed Mag Vet?
A. Yes, Mag Vet is a mineral supplement and will not interfere with
any medication.
